Moonlight Stream
Stream the gaming PC's picture to the Moonlight PC with Sunshine, over your network. No capture card. For two PCs, not consoles.
Moonlight Stream receives the gaming PC's picture from Sunshine, a game streaming host you install on the gaming PC. The picture travels over your network, so you need no capture card.
It is built into Moonlight. You do not install a separate streaming app on the Moonlight PC.
Moonlight Stream is for two PCs. It does not work with a console; for a PS5 use PS5 Remote Play.
#What you need
- Sunshine on the gaming PC.
- Both PCs on the same network. A wired connection keeps the picture steady.
#Set it up
- On the gaming PC, turn on GameStream in Sunshine and add the app you want to stream to its application list.
- On the Moonlight PC, open Capture and choose Moonlight Stream.
- Enter the gaming PC's host name or IP address, and the app's name exactly as it appears in Sunshine. Choose the resolution, frame rate and bitrate.
- Press Pair host. Moonlight shows a four-digit PIN. Enter it in Sunshine's pairing prompt on the gaming PC within 3 minutes. You only pair once.
- Press Start Moonlight. It starts or resumes the app on the gaming PC and reads its picture.
